Outstanding Performance

Flexible Framework Design

RG-5GNR-BBU5000 adopts the advanced framework design, with a variety of slots for expansion and evolution. It enables power redundancy and fan hot-swapping.

Evolving Multi-Cell Capacity

Currently, one 5G baseband card supports four 2T2R or two 4T4R 5G cells, and one 4G baseband card supports three 2T2R 4G cells.

The entire device supports up to eight 2T2R or four 4T4R 5G cells in NR and Long-Term Evolution (LTE) frequency division duplex (FDD) modes and three 4G cells, which requires two 5G baseband cards and one 4G baseband card. The device can be evolved to support more cells.

Flexible Cell Merging

This product can merge cells serving by all pRRUs (up to 128 pRRUs) under multiple pHUBs, allowing flexible networking.

Strong Multi-UE Capability

Each cell has 400 or more activated UEs and 1200 or more connected UEs. The entire device supports a maximum of 3200 activated UEs.

Environment Protection and Lower Power Consumption

RG-5GNR-BBU5000 incorporates various new energy saving technologies, including system-level data link design optimization and deep sleep. In addition to high-performance power design, RG-5GNR-BBU5000 is energy-efficient while providing high-speed wireless access services.

HA and Stabler Design

Multiple Synchronization Capabilities

RG-5GNR-BBU5000 supports dual-mode Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and the automatic switching between GNSS, Beidou, and Global Positioning System (GPS). This product also supports IEEE 1588v2 clock synchronization.

Powerful Clock Holding

After the synchronization signal is lost, this product supports the clock holding function to ensure signal synchronization for 24 hours.

Design Philosophy for Vertical Industry

RG-5GNR-BBU5000 supports local offloading, also known as smart and minimalist offloading. This product offers various offloading solutions based on the IP address 5-tuple, public land mobile network (PLMN), and slice. Moreover, the main unit can integrate Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) cards to help ISPs develop markets in vertical industries and connect with applications in the industries in an "integrated" way.

Flexible Device Management Modes

Support for Automatic Site Deployment

RG-5GNR-BBU5000 can be remotely and automatically deployed in accordance with ISPs' specifications. 5G/4G networks can be quickly opened, helping ISPs rapidly respond to market requirements.

Support for Interconnection to NMS of Different Vendors

RG-5GNR-BBU5000 meets ISPs' specifications and features standard interconnection capabilities, and therefore can be interconnected to the NMSs of different vendors and realize joint management of 5G/4G networks.
